Don received a B.S in Music at Lebanon Valley College and an MFA in Theater Management from UCLA where he also served on the faculty of the Department of Theater, Film and Television. For Hyperion Press he authored the book A Celebration of the Broadway Musical, Beauty and the Beast.

 

Elliott Forrest

Elliott Forrest is best known to be the host of Breakfast with the Arts on A&E Television Network for 12 years. He is currently heard on the radio in New York City on Classical 105.9FM WQXR and WNYC. He is the host and producer of the national radio broadcasts of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the award winning podcasts for the New York Philharmonic. . He also has been the ‘voice’ of LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER on PBS and for 5 years was heard on CNN.

Elliott started Forrest Productions, LLC, his own production company. The first venture was to acquire the radio rights to A&E’s signature series, Biography®. Biography® for Radio can now be heard across the US and Canada. . As a producer he’s created concerts at The Hollywood Bowl, Lincoln Center for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Pasadena Pops and the Little Orchestra Society. And along with Partner Don Frantz, Elliott has created several theatrical events, the latest is Walkin’ Broadway™.
Originally from Texas, Elliott received a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Texas in Austin. He lives just outside New York City with his wife and two children. He is on the board of The New York Youth Symphony.
